European Golden Boot Zambian Recipient

22 year old Salzburg striker, Patson Daka is currently the first Zambian in history to be the OUTRIGHT winner of the "Player of the Season" award and also the first Zambian to win a Golden Boot in the Austrian Bundlesliga. He played 42 games this season, scored 34 goals (27 goals in the league, 7 in other competitions), contributed 12 assists, a league cup winner, Austrian Bundlesliga title winner, league's highest goal scorer and finally, the player of the season.

 

Patson Daka is a Zambian professional footballer, who currently plays as a forward for Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg and the Zambia national team. The 22-year-old is the Austrian Bundesliga Top Scorer with 27 league goals in the 2020/2021 season, he was the best Player of the Championship Round, he was also the second Top Scorer in the Austrian Bundesliga with 24 goals in the 2019/20 season.

Patson Daka scored the fastest hat-trick in Austrian Bundesliga history, an achievement he made in 8 minutes. Not only is he the first Zambian in Austria to win the best player in the league, he also became the second Zambian to win a Golden Boot in an European League after Mwape Miti who did it in Denmark with OB in the 2003/2004 season
